Getting Started: Using Orberg’s
Lingua Latina: Familia Romana
Martha Davis, Tom Walker
Have you thought about trying
Hans Orberg’s Lingua Latina: Familia Romana, but felt overwhelmed
because it is entirely in Latin? Did you
know that the illustrations have recently received color enhancement? A
combination of presentation, demonstration and participant activities will
introduce you to the new edition and how it can work in your precollege or
college classroom, whether your goal is spoken language or translation. You
will learn from veteran users of the text how the lessons are formatted and how
easy it is to get started with the book. Much material will be distributed.
Limited to 20 participants. (3 hours)

already possess an active knowledge of the fundamental notions of Latin grammar
