Software License Agreement

Focus Publishing / R. Pullins Company, Inc.

The following is an agreement between Focus Publishing / R. Pullins Company, Inc. (“Focus”) and Current Adopters of Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata CD Roms//Audio File Downloads and Hans H. 0rberg (“Author”).  Focus and the Author hold or represent all the rights holders to the Text, Software and Site License of Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata CD Roms/Audio File Downloads.   “Current Adopters” are defined as being any educational institution concurrently requiring the use of the software Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata CD Roms/Audio File Downloads  for students.

License Grant.  Current Adopters may use the Software with, or copy it to, any computer equipment owned by the educational institution, for use in conjunction with the Lingua Latina: Pars I: Familia Romana and/ or Lingua Latina Pars II: Roma Aeterna textbook, without fees or other costs.  This grant does not extend to copying the Software for use on other equipment not owned by or controlled by the institution, nor for resale, lease, or loan.  This grant does not extend to the Text or to printed materials that accompany the Text.

Copyright.  The copyright for all the materials in the Software is held by Focus and its licensers,

and no rights other than the limited rights above are transferred under this agreement.  These rights expire when and if the Text is no longer the current adopted text.

Disclaimer.  The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Fee.  This agreement will be considered to be in effect when signed and returned to Focus Publishing, P.O. Box 369, Newburyport, MA  01950 along with payment of the fee of $50.00 and the course information requested below.  Continued use is implied with the Software, and is subject to requests from Focus to verify continued adoption.
